hello. im just really confused about our mayors permit. at the beginning of every year the question to pay or not to pay always crossed my mind. I've been asking some of our friends if they're paying it or not, what confused me more is that some does, some doesn't.they say that some city doesn't acknowledge the letter given by then secretary of finance Edgardo Espiritu regarding our mayors permit. Is it about time that we have one ruling regarding mayors permit? Is the PDA going to support us in case the city government where we are practicing question the legalities of us not paying the mayors permit?  Huh

During the time of PDA elections some officers who are running for position said that they will address our problem regarding our mayors permit,i just want to know how are they going to address it or have they done something about it? we really should have one ruling regarding that.

Its me again. I already have that letter exempting us from paying the mayors fee.  My problem is that i'm a member of ACDEC But my practice is in Q.C. A friend of mine is also a member of ACDEC but his practice is in San Mateo Rizal and he showed the letter given to us by our chapter president and they won't accept it, ang sabi nila kung i allow daw nila iyong letter baka daw lahat na lang ng dentista sa pilipinas sa lugar na lang nila mag tayo ng clinic kasi hindi kailangan ng business permit wala naman daw sinasabi ang local government na i-exempt tayo and that there is no basis daw iyong letter na binigay ng chapter president namin, eventhough it was written by a law firm hired by our chapter.Hindi po ba dapat na sana our PDA president should be the one to  write the letter and talk to all LGUs concerns and not just chapter president? kasi what if your a member of a chapter but your practice is somewhere else, like i do. Huh
